It’s a Coat Party

Ninety percent of homeless people need a new winter jacket each season, so bring one that you no longer need to this strange party, hosted by JellyNYC, Gibson Guitar, and Ben Sherman. Your coat-donation goes to New York Cares, which gives about 90,000 homeless New Yorkers warm winter coats each year. Once you’ve donated your coat, there’s free Dewars, Bass Ale, and Redbull to drink, plus “gifts courtesy of Ben Sherman,” a raffle for a Gibson electric guitar, and music from the Paul Green School of Rock All Stars. Weirdly, it’s at the Ben Sherman SOHO store, on Spring St.
