Pitchfork‘s got the new Monsters of Folk video today, for a song called “Say Please” from the band’s underwhelming self-titled debut. It looks like a clip from Saving Private Ryan at first, with M. Ward, Jim James and Mike Mogis dressed as soldiers. Then they wind up at some sort of old-timey party in the middle of nowhere, and they join Conor Oberst on a makeshift stage to perform the song. The whole thing is pretty embarrassing. And no one even gets naked.
