A week from now, the L copresents a Film Comment Selects screening of Red Dawn at the Walter Reade Theater, followed by an afterparty featuring an open bar and DJs spinning 80s hip-hop. Last summer, Matt Zoller Seitz and Aaron Aradillas looked at the film in their epic five-part Evolution of the Modern Blockbuster series (which is always worth revisiting from start to finish).
