Dry Fish by Andy Martin

In his latest short film, Dry Fish (embedded after the jump), animator Andy Martin takes us to what could be a Dr. Seuss-ified version of the floating mountains from Avatar, all rendered with a palette of pastel-hues and vaguely Burtonesque forms, starring an orange dot reminiscent of the old 7Up mascot Cool Spot who sings with autotune, a cast of eyes on legs and amorphous monsters that look like Nikki de Saint Phalle sculptures, and raining pandas. It’s visually and aurally quite catchy.
