We’re pleased as punch to announce that Elvis Perkins in Dearland will be playing Consequence of Sound‘s Sunday afternoon showcase at the outdoor MetroPCS stage. Perkins’ rootsy, intricate style should pair seamlessly with opener A.A. Bondy‘s weathered Americana and an ice-cold beer/non-alcoholic beverage (all-ages venue!). Neither of them have beards, nor do their songs tread in the bland-sounding territory that so many of their genre’s counterparts tend to do from time to time. They do have awesome first names though. Elvis and Auguste, respectively. Ready for a video?
