The NYC Ballet does Jerome Robbins—slangy, snappy, pure 50s city-life jazz—in McCarren Park Pool and on the High Line; it’s shot beautifully, with a real feel for space and movement. The film screens tonight at indieScreen as part of Northside Film, and I’ll be moderating a Q&A with the filmmakers after. Stop by, it’s not like there’s anything else going on tonight.
