- Please do not throw these.
Ok, let’s talk about this real quick, and then never again: An afterparty at Shea Stadium for Wavves’ Northside show at the Knitting Factory was shut down by the police last night when someone threw a beer bottle at a cop car, breaking the back windshield. The party, which was supposed to be DJ’d by Pitchfork founder Ryan Schreiber and Titus Andronicus frontman Patrick Stickles, never really got started. The Observer has all the gory details.
So, listen up, everyone: Please, don’t throw bottles at anyone or anything, especially cops or their cars. Nothing good is going to come from it. I promise.
