Bed bugs are slowly displacing roaches and rats as the most detested infesters of New York City spaces public, private, commercial and psychic. Consequently, they’re poised to take the leap into graffiti iconography as shorthand symbols for the city’s most marginalized groups. An EV Grieve tipster spotted the start of the bed bug street art trend on St. Marks yesterday.
