So Ok Yes the Full Trailer for The Social Network Just Dropped

We rarely do much of this sort of viral pimping, but this seems to be of pretty much universal interest: Travel back to those halcyon days of the early aughts, when you were still in college, and so was the nascent Friendster knock-off Facebook, with the new, finally full-length trailer for David Fincher’s wildly anticipated, New York Film Festival-opening The Social Network. It’s scored, rather hilariously effectively, to a chorus of children singing “Creep,” by one of your Favorite bands; it—and the perfectly cast Jesse Eisenberg’s unnervingly antisocial take on Mark Zuckerberg—seems to capture very nicely two things equally germane to both Facebook and early adulthood: the well-maintained facade of groups, and individuals, you wish you knew better than you did, and the viciously competitive, often duplicitous meaning of friendship. After the jump?

Anyway, if you “share” this on Facebook, it will be so totally meta that somebody’s head will explode, hopefully not mine.
