Over the past ten years, Portland trio Menomena has quietly put together an impressive career, built on their complex, hard-hitting brand of indie-pop. Their new album, Mines, hits shelves next Tuesday, but in the meantime, you can hear it in its entirety over at NPR. They remain remarkably unique and either impervious or oblivious to trends. If you pick up a physical copy of this one—which you should, by the way; it deserves the home stereo treatment—you’ll also be pleased to learn there’s some sort of fancy 3D cover thing. Or maybe you won’t. Either way, check it out.
