Tomorrow, grab some friends from middle school, or your local feuding families, and bring them to SummerScreen at McCarren Park (N 12th and Bedford). There will be live music, good beer, and a free showing of William Shakespeare’s Romeo + Juliet, un film de Baz Luhrmann. Gates open at 6pm for you to lie out your blanket, grab a Sixpoint beer, and spend some time thinking about how much has changed, in yourself and in the world, since the first time you heard “Lovefool.”

While you wait for the show to begin, enter our Fandango contest for free movie tickets and graze the selections from our local food vendors: Milk Truck, Pizza Moto, Asia Dogs, People’s Pops, San Loco, and—WHAT—the Red Hook Lobster Pound.

Our music know-it-all (in the best way!) friends over at Free Williamsburg have hooked us up with free live performances from Hank & The Cupcakes at 6:15 and Noun at 7:15. Fun right? Well, fun until everyone attractive dies in the end of the movie. So, enjoy the moment before shit gets star-crossed. See you good morrow!
