Elevator Repair Services Gatz

Gatz, Elevator Repair Service’s widely acclaimed six-hour show in which the cast reads F. Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby cover to cover, has toured the world from Troy (New York) to Trondheim (Norway), and is finally having its New York City premiere at the end of the month at the Public Theater. Anticipation for the marathon show has reached fever pitch: tickets have only been put on sale to members and the whole run has already sold out. Today the Public announced the show’s second extension, adding two weeks to the run with the slew of new tickets going on sale to the general public on September 21, assuming there are any left… The show, which begins previews on September 26 and opens on October 5, will now run through November 28.
