Ridiculous Giant Stroller Invites “Donkey Punch” Jokes

  • “Mommy, what’s a donkey punch?”

Complaining about breeders and their strollers is traditionally a Park Slope-inflected pastime (FIPS represent!), but as Williamsburg grows up and starts poppin’ em out (seriously, check out the playground at Wythe and Grand), the number of ridiculous, gigantic, preposterously over-designed strollers is going to increase. I’ve already noticed an unpleasant up-tick in impossible-to-pass-on-the-sidewalk baby conveyances, and have begun working on my disgruntled-in-huff gutter-pass, which is getting pretty good.

But it’s going to have to get even better should one of the new doublewide, convertible Bugaboo “Donkeys” make an appearance on Bedford Avenue. Seriously. There’s room for an entire family of Belgian refugees on this thing. It’s ridiculous. And embarrassing. And if I see one I’m going to punch it. That’s right, a Donkey Punch.
