This Monday, the New York Public Library will host a talk between Jay-Z and the intimidatingly brilliant author, activist and academic, Cornell West. The event is scheduled to coincide with the release of Decoded, Jay-Z’s new book about the story his lyrics have only begun to tell, from his early days hustling to his interest in politics now that he’s gotten older. There’s no telling where this conversation could lead, but you can rest assured you’ll walk out thinking about things differently than when you walked in.
While it should be worth every penny of the $58 they’re charging for admission (or $45 if you’re a member), we happen to have a pair of tickets we’re looking to give away for free. Assuming you’re interested—and really, I can’t figure out why you wouldn’t be—here’s what you’ll need to do:
1) Follow LMagMusic on Twitter.
2) Tweet at LMagMusic the one question you’d most like to ask Jay-Z if you were given the chance.
3) Sit tight and hope we’ve picked yours as the best question submitted.
