21 Pianos Coming to Brooklyn Parks and Street Corners This Summer

Pop-up pianos are returning to Brooklyn for a second season. Last year, 60 pianos were placed at public, outdoor locations throughout the city; the program was such a success that this year the number has been upped to 88. (Which, as the Brooklyn Paper points out, is apt, since a piano keyboard has 88 keys.)

Twenty-one pianos will go to Brooklyn, and will be on streets from June 18 through July 2. You can see their locations on the website’s map, or check out the list we made by neighborhood with links to more information about the piano nearest you:
