To keep the Radiohead rumor train going — you seem to like those guys an awfully lot — we’ll point you in the direction of music trade publication HITS Daily Double, who worked a pretty juicy tidbit into one of their news reports last week. Their words, not ours:
And though rock record revenues have diminished, the concert business, led by acts with multi-decade careers playing arenas and stadiums, has held steady and in some cases has actually increased. The same is true with high-profile festivals like Coachella, which has locked in No Doubt and Radiohead as two of next year’s headliners.
Granted, this comes a good four or five months before Coachella typically reveals their lineup and without confirmation from either band, so it’s probably best to take the news with grain of salt. Still, Radiohead and No Doubt. It could happen.
