A teenager riding his bicycle in Bensonhurst on Saturday afternoon was hit and killed by a SUV, Bensonhurst Bean reports. Thirteen-year-old Henry Garcia was on 80th Street and 20th Avenue, just blocks from his home, when the green vehicle struck him and drove off. He was pronounced dead at Coney Island Hospital. Police are still looking for the driver, the blog reports.

Henry had been on his way home from paying the electric bill, the Post reports. He often made this trip with his brother; the latter was late for work, so Henry was traveling home alone when he was struck.

Also on Saturday afternoon, I was walking around Williamsburg, on Kent Avenue around N. 7th Street, when I saw a man sitting on the curb beside his bicycle, which lay flat on the street. A yellow cab was stopped in front of him. He appeared dazed and unable to stand for long, and was being tended to by a pedestrian. It appeared he had been in an accident.
