For once the Lollapalooza that they are destined for hell were right (for at least an hour or so, anyway). The apocalypse came on Saturday. Not so much fire and brimstone on this go-around, but in the form of a severe storm that hit Chicago on day two of the annual music carnival, forcing a mass exodus of 100,000 attendees from the festival site to evacuation shelters along Michigan Avenue. The show must go on, though, that’s what they say. And so it did, with Lolla organizers reopening the park after a three-hour delay. As seen in the highlights below, Ozzy and his reunited Black Sabbath did their best to conjure evil, Frank Ocean and his bandana of choice trumped it, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers were also there. Let’s watch and pretend we were too.
