Every once in a while we have to bite the bullet and acknowledge that Manhattan exists, and unfortunately, there’s nowhere in our borough to indulge in a true afternoon tea service (Sweet Melissa’s only does theirs for large parties). So until a Brooklyn restaurateur gets wise, we’ll just have to hop the train and get our fix of cucumber sandwiches, scones and clotted cream, and piping hot pots of Lady Grey tea at this elegant West Village cafe.
