Pound Pints at The Salty Dog: If you’re familiar with this Bay Ridge saloon, you know it’s generally packed from morning till night — dedicated booze hounds line the bar in the late a.m., and rowdy karaoke-lovers spill out onto the streets from 8pm until close. So if you don’t fit in either category but still groove on the firehouse décor, gently-priced drafts and better than average pub grub, there’s a very slim window of opportunity to enjoy yourself….from 12-2pm. Don’t know why this is, exactly, but worth taking advantage of while you still can.
7509 3rd Avenue, Bay Ridge
