On an avenue with several equally good, equally cheap options for authentic Polish food, this hole in the wall wisely gives itself a leg up (or just avoids the hassle of applying and paying for a liquor license) by letting diners bring their own drinks to dinner. It's directly around the corner from a full-service liquor store, but really, nothing is as well-designed to wash down a plate of pierogies as a cold glass (or two) of Żywiec.
