Hawker Bar: The newly re-styled Hawker Bar — formally the Sunburnt Calf — is celebrating their relaunch with a series of Thai barbecue and karaoke-fueled Sunday’s (rescheduled for Monday this week). $35 will buy plates of Indonesian pork shoulder, kaffir lime-infused chicken wings and curried basa, cooked outside on Hawker Bar’s traditional ceramic grill. And the best part is that you’ll be eating, drinking, and warbling ‘80’s tunes all for a good cause — because $5 from each purchase goes towards P.S. 9 in Prospect Heights.
