Crispy Squash Blossoms; Five Leaves
Zucchini is often thought of as a gardener's nightmare because it grows in almost any conditions and tends to take over whatever patch of land you've staked out for yourself. But the gardener's bane is the diner's delight, especially when the diner happens to be at Five Leaves. Here, you get summer on a plate in the form of squash blossoms, burrata, a bright lemon-zucchini puree, tomatoes and olives. The cheese makes it all feel decadent, but it's really a plate full of a summer garden's bounty.
