Inside Mauro Remiddi's Greenpoint Apartment

It seems that Mauro Remiddi, the musician behind Porcelain Raft, acts on a strong intuition, and that is a fact.
Remiddi came to Brooklyn in 2010 for CMJ and on his first night he played a show at Shea Stadium—as soon as he started playing he remembers knowing he had to move here. Which was convenient because his future wife, Emma, was in the crowd. "We just started chatting and we never stopped chatting, basically,” Remiddi says with a newlywed glow about him. Later that same week he met his future record label, Secretly Canadian. Only a few months later he moved in with Emma to a Bushwhick space where they lived until they found the Greenpoint apartment they currently enjoy.
