Italian eyewear maker Persol is probably the most popular brand of sunglasses in Paris, with their 649 model leading the way. Created in 1957, Persols became style icons thanks to Steve McQueen and Marcello Mastroianni, who were photographed countless times wearing them, both on and off screen. Relaunched commercially a few years ago, they were adopted immediately by Parisians interested in classic elegance.
