49. Rita Hayworth

Born in Brooklyn to a Spanish father and Irish-English mother, Hayworth's birth name is one of the Brooklyniest we ever heard: Margarita Cansino. Of course, in the early 20th century, Hollywood wasn't putting no "Margarita Cansino" in pictures, so she changed her name to something less ethnic and became a star, appearing in some of our favorite movies (Only Angels Have Wings, Gilda) and opposite some of our favorite leading men (Fred Astaire, Gene Kelly). She was also married to Orson Welles for a few years, which we imagine was like being married to Citizen Kane.
