With just a few hours of work left to suffer through before the holiday weekend kicks off and summer comes crashing to a halt, we've been trying to remember just what the hell we've been doing for the past three months. Turns out we drank a lot and went to parades and visited famous people's apartments and shit like that. So we thought we'd share the highlights of it one more time: on the following pages, you'll be whisked away on a photographic tour of our summer. It was a good one. Hopefully yours was too.
We visisted a DUMBO artist's loft that we would literally kill for.
We hosted the fourth annual Northside Festival, which, as you'll see, was attended by lots of very attractive, well-dressed people.
We went to the Pride parade.
We visited Girls star Jemima Kirk's apartment.
We found some photographs of Williamsburg in the 90s.
We took some portraits of the folks hanging out at McCarren Pool.
We showed Dirty Dancing at Summerscreen, and everyone got up to dance for the finale.
We had a launch party for our Summer print issue, and it was at the Prospect Park Zoo.
We went to the Afropunk Festival.
We visited an obscenely beautiful rooftop garden.
