The Nets Beat the Knicks!

In their first matchup of the season, after Sandy delayed the original date, the Brooklyn Nets defeated the New York Knicks 96-89 last night, lending the new Kings County team a measure of debut-season legitimacy—at least at home, where the rivalry between opposite sides of the river has been strong.
