Al Gore

No, I'm not just taking a walk down some random 90s political Hall of Fame. Bloomberg calling Gore makes sense because Bloomberg is incredibly concerned about climate change and its impact on the city and who has been talking about climate change for longer than just about anyone else? Al Gore, that's who. Gore would be ALL OVER strengthening the city's infrastructure against future Sandy-like storms.

Gore is most analogous to Stannis Baratheon in that, while he might be right a lot of the time, he's not the most likeable figure. But who is his Melisandre? Who plays the role of his seductive adviser? Well, in the 2000 election, it was Naomi Wolf (more recently the author of the much mocked, "Vagina") who told Gore that he ought to wear more "earth tones." For which Wolf was much mocked. So, maybe Gore should stay away from Wolf this time.
