For all the haters, the Bay Ridge-Dyker Heights-Bensonhurst-Bath Beach area had the lowest rates of gonorrhea and chlamydia in Brooklyn—among the lowest rates in the city, in fact, though CBS reports that rates of Hepatitis B and tuberculosis are high in the area because of its large foreign-born population, among whom rates for such diseases tend to be higher.
