The number of murders in NYC was the lowest last year it's been since the police began keeping track in 1963—414. But the murderiest borough was Brooklyn, accounting for 36 percent of the city's homicides. Most murders are caused by "dispute/revenge," which, if you don't want to get killed, maybe you should be more agreeable? Or you could spend most of your time in the following neighborhoods, which had no or very few murders in 2012. Life is a numbers game; you should like these odds. [photo]
