*Beirut is headlining the inaugural show at that 5,000-capacity McCarren Park space we keep making such a fuss about.
*Twin Sister, Deer Tick, Allo Darlin', Javelin, Ava Luna, Delicate Steve and Terror Pigeon Dance Revolt! round out a teeny tiny taste of what else is in store of the 250+ bands to be announced throughout the next 10 weeks.
*A glimpse into the 50+ showcase presenters handpicking the bands they think you need to hear includes BrooklynVegan, Kanine Records, Consequence of Sound, FREEwilliamsburg, Luaka Bop, Lefse Records, Hardly Art, Sacred Bones Records, Brooklyn Bodega, NYCTaper and Panache Booking.
*Get ready: Four-day, all-ages badges will go on sale this Friday at 12pm for a limited-time price of $60. Individual tickets to the all-ages Beirut show at McCarren Park on June 17 are available for $25 advance / $30 day of the show. You can buy both of those here.
