Music Embarrassing Yearbook Photo of the Day

Dean and Britta, that is, Dean Wareham and Britta Phillips and their lovey-dovey softcore lullabies, are playing at the Zipper Factory in Hell's Kitchen tonight, if you're up for feeling rather grown-up and emotionally fulfilled and gauzily happy. And the settled-down sound is their prerogative, I suppose, especially as Dean's wilder years with Galaxie 500 and Luna have been recently well-documented by the man himself. Less widely reported, though, is Britta's own awkward rock and roll adolescence, specifically in a movie scrubbed from the resume of everyone involved, 1988's unforgettably forgettable girls in the band trifle Satisfaction, starring... well:
It's pretty much 90 minutes of that. Here's Britta's solo. Definitely request it tonight, if you go.
