And Now, My Fellow Americans, George Krzewski On Behalf of Potential New National Anthem #5

For those of you just joining us, we're trying to find a new American national anthem on the eve of the summer Olympics. I've thus far stumped for My Idaho Home, I Would Die 4 U and American Music, you've heard Edith for Don't Come Around Here No More, and more suggestions are coming today and the rest of this week. Here's our most dedicated and wide-ranging commenter, George Krzewski, with a suggestion of his own:
"Not the anthem we need, but the anthem we deserve..."
