Good News/Bad News, Mainly Bad, Let’s Get Drunk

For a sane look at the ever-diminishing Palin bounce, the good people over at Five Thirty Eight provide a measured and calming analysis of all the most recent polling info. Also, John McCain doesn't know where Spain is or who's in charge or really why the barman keeps bringing over free slices of ham. But none of that will really matter to mythical Joe Lunchbox, so whatever.
And oops, the international central banking bailout that happened over night seemed to have calmed the jittery markets, but as an obsessive compulsive real-time ticker habit reveals, it didn't work.
