The L Magazine and the Public Theater present a panel discussion on community activism tonight, featuring representatives from local organizations and government, talking about 50 Simple Things Kids Can Do to Save the Earth, or at least the City.
Why are we doing this, you ask, not unreasonably. Well, the discussion follows a performance of the Public's current production, Taking Over, a one-man show starring "hip-hop theater pioneer Danny Hoch", embodying all sides of the gentrification coin. It's tonight at 7pm – $20 rush tickets go on sale at the box office at 6pm.
