Music Killers Confirm Covers Album, We Tell Them What to Cover

As reported on Billboard yesterday, everyone's favorite Mormon punching bags the Killers have acknowledged that, yes, they do plan to release that covers album they've been talking about on and off for a while now. No time frame has been set, because Brandon Flowers is busy shopping for ridiculous coats and sitting around just generally being really pleased with himself. So far they've already recorded an undisclosed Cyndi Lauper song ("Time After Time," obvs), "Four Winds" by Bright Eyes, and the Murray Head version of "One Night in Bangkok." And now, my predictions/fantasies for the remainder of the tracklist.
"The Best Damn Thing" by Avril Lavigne: If only so that people will see that the Killers version actually doesn't sound terribly unlike Avril's, at which point they'll either start to like the Killers less or Avril more. Either of which would be fine with me.
"Thnks Fr Th Mmrs" by Fall Out Boy: Because, despite all the genre-hopping they've done over the years, I've always had a hunch that mall-punk/emo is the only thing they'd actually be any good at.
"Boys and Girls in America" by the Hold Steady: Because, you know... Springsteen, troubled youth, etc.
"Outfit" by the Drive By Truckers: Go ahead, picture Mr. Flowers singing the line "Don't call what you're wearing an outfit" and giggle.
"Range Life" by Pavement: They absolutely think they understand this song, and absolutely do not.
"The Last of the International Playboys" by Morrissey — Wait, this would actually be awesome, I think.
"Bullet With Butterfly Wings" by Smashing Pumpkins: They were the right age for this song to matter, right? (Note: this would be a prediction, not a fantasy.)
"Greensboro Woman" by Townes Van Zandt: As he ages, could Flowers actually become really good at sitting behind a piano being sad? Could he already be good at it and not even realize it because he can't stand the thought of not being able to gesture wildly with his hands?
This could go one forever, basically. Would they actually be dumb enough to try something like the dreaded, semi-ironic rock band cover of an R&B or rap song? I think they might be. Do they maybe love the Shins? T Rex? I could see that, actually. And so much more.

I suspect that the "undisclosed Cyindi Lauper song" is actually one of her covers of like "Money Changes Anything" or "When You Were Mine."
Or, you know, "She Bop."
When this album comes out I will absolutely ask you to request a promo copy for me, obvs.
