Music Free One-of-a-Kind, Unmastered, Unreleased Islands LP!

News broke yesterday that Islands frontman Nick Thorburn mistakenly left a data CD containing an unmastered version of the band's forthcoming LP on the C train earlier this week. He posted about it a handful of times on his Twitter, which seems a bit odd, frankly. If I had lost something that I really, really didn't want anyone to find, for fear that they might distribute it to the entire internet, I probably wouldn't go tell the internet where I was when I last had it. Unless I was desperate for attention, of course.
Also, serves him right for talking shit about Vampire Weekend last year.
