L Mag Turns Six, Steals from Mother's Purse, Feels No Shame

Six years ago (to the day) The L Magazine was smooshed into orange boxes around downtown New York. The publisher, the editor, and the sales director woke up at 5:30am to do the initial distribution run. Later that night they all got drunk at The Cedar Tavern (RIP), and then the editor got really depressed and went home to sleep (umm, that's me). That pattern has pretty much repeated itself over the last six years. Hooray!
