Using Babies as Airbags

I was sitting on my stoop the other day, drinking gin from a hollowed-out watermelon, when I saw what appeared to be a human toddler attached to the front of a bicycle in some kind of plastic Iron Maiden recumbent. Though the human child was wearing a helmet, I can only assume its father was using it to protect himself from the inevitable crash. The image at left is my rendering of the sight. Thank you.
