Join us, won't you, at the Slipper Room on Monday night, oh let's just say around 7pm, for the second leg of our Literary Upstart: The Search for Pocket Fiction competition. There will be short fiction, stage banter you know by heart, humiliations galore during our New York City Literary Trivia competition, cutting witticisms from our judges — joined tonight by HarperCollins bigwig Cal Morgan — boisterous hecklers/L mag staffers in every corner of the room, and, of course, bottles of Dogfish, sold for the so-low-you'll-worry-it's-contaminated-but-it's-not price of $1 apiece. So RSVP now, lest we feel unloved.
