The Hammer Comes Down on L.A.

Posted By on Fri, Jun 5, 2009 at 4:49 PM

On most days, New York is better than Los Angeles just by virtue of not being Los Angeles, but every so often something happens that makes us think "Huh, only in L.A." and we suddenly feel like we may be missing out. Today's Hammer Pants flash mob video — wherein dozens of parachute pants-clad people rush a Sunset Boulevard store for a dance performance — is one such moment. Of course, it's just another case of viral marketing sapping the seeds of spontaneous dancing (here to build hype for Hammer's new A&E show Hammertime), but still, doesn't it make L.A. look great?
