Art Returns to Soho (For One Night)

Posted by Benjamin Sutton on Sun, Jun 21, 2009 at 12:00 PM

7555/1245516619-p_frankenbee.jpgSoho gets in touch with its former art scene self for a few hours tonight when MF Gallery, which specializes in pop and street art and was one of the first new art spaces to open on the LES, throws an evening-long art and music party, rain or shine.

MF takes over West Broadway between Houston and Prince Streets, where they'll be hosting a free outdoor art rock show (featuring DETHRACE, Skum City, Bobby Steele, The Headlocks, The Healthy Snacks, The Jadewalkers and Aunt Fuzz) and an exhibition by gallery artist Joe Simko (work pictured) at 463 West Broadway. The performances, exhibition and other special events kick off at 5pm and run through 10pm. Click here for more information.
