Music My Morning Jacket Frontman Covers George Harrison, Wants You to Forget About That Last My Morning Jacket Record

Remember how that last My Morning Jacket record immediately replaced whatever was previously the most embarrassing thing in your record collection? Yeah, it was no good. But they're moving on, it seems, or at least frontman Jim James is. In addition to the very promising and hilariously monikered Monsters of Folk project he's working on with Conor Oberst and M. Ward, James is set to release an EP of George Harrison covers, which he recorded in the days following Harrisson's death in 2001. The record is called Tribute To and it's out, courtesy of ATO Records, on August 4.
