Music Update: The Vampire Weekend Tribute Band Organizer Speaks

Word has already spread that the Craigslist ad looking for people to join a Vampire Weekend cover band appears to be somewhat legitimate. I received an email from the person who posted the ad, and here's what she had to say:
Here is the scoop so far:We have fielded hundreds of Vampy Weekend cover band hopefuls, we narrowed it down, and have finally settled on four superstars, and all Princeton Alums at that. Vampy Weekendish but not too derivative, right? Finding a name for the band was a long, arduous process. At first, we were like, Twilight Staycation??! Nahhh. The brainstorming sesh lasted through the night, with some gems and some total flops, but we finally settled on a hot ticket name. We are thrilled to announce The VW Bugs — the first, latest, greatest Vampire Weekend tribute EVRR.
