Music Clap Your Hands Say "Solo Album"

Just a day after news broke that, with the Strokes on an unofficial hiatus, Julian Casablancas is set to release his first solo record, Pitchfork is reporting that Alex Ounsworth is dealing with the inactivity of his own band, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, in a similar way. He's inked a deal with Anti Records to release his debut solo effort, Mo Beauty, on October 20. The album was recorded in New Orleans with members of the Meters, Galactic, the Greyboy Allstars among others. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna try getting Alex Ounsworth to talk to us about it.
