The Roots Are Going Back to Their, Um, Origins

c054/1248190352-therootsimage.jpgThe most consistently excellent rap artists of the last 15 years, The Roots, premiered the title track and first single off their next album How I Got Over (due in October) on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon last month. They just released the studio version, and it's pretty promising, something of a return to the breezy, jazzy days of Organix and Do You Want More?!!!??! after three albums of chest-rattling bass, cynicism and depression (and awesomeness):
