Music If You Want Me, I'll Be in the Bar... In North Carolina

For the remainder of the work-week, and through the weekend, I'll be posting from the lovely Chapel HIll, North Carolina, where I'll be attending the Merge XX Festival, a five-day celebration of the legendary indie label's twentieth anniversary. They've got an awful lot planned, including daytime screenings of Arcade Fire and Conor Oberst documentaries, BBQs, kickball games, and lots and lots of performances from Merge bands past and present, from Polvo, Spent and Guv'ner to Spoon, the Magnetic Fields and Destroyer, among many others.
I'll be checking in here on the blog every day for sure, posting recaps and hopefully some videos, assuming I can figure out how to work this Flip thing. But now would probably be a good time to start following us on Twitter. You know, so that you can be among the first to find out that the Arcade Fire/Neutral Milk Hotel rumors are true.
