Posted By on Fri, Jul 24, 2009 at 12:46 PM

Jesus, Dogma Nine activists were arrested yesterday in Harlem after staging a tent-city sit-in at a vacant lot owned by Chase Bank. Two priests were among those arrested in the effort (spearheaded by the group Picture the Homeless) to raise awareness about this city's ongoing dearth of affordable housing (despite recent plans).

So I just wanted to say, "Thanks, Catholic priests, for stepping up and bringing the moral authority of the church to bear on actual issues that your ghostly overlord Jebus would actually care about. We could use more of you. Kthanxbai."
