FREE BOOZE! Art Events Tonight

Dumbo
Tonight is the monthly gallery walk First Thursdays in the 'hood down under the bridges, with participating galleries like A.I.R. Gallery, the Brooklyn Art Project, Klompching Gallery, +Kris Graves Projects and more holding receptions, artists talks and special events from 5pm onwards.

Williamsburg
Chilean street artists Punto and Blok (pictured) open their collaborative show at Cinders Gallery, 103 Havemeyer St (between Grand and Hope Sts), 7-10pm

Prospect Heights
Turnstile I, the first in a series of exhibitions featuring work by adolescent inmates at Riker's Island Prison opens at FiveMyles, 558 St Johns Place (between Franklin and Classon Aves), 5:30pm-7:30pm

Fiyel Levent and Anne Romme create light tricks and installations at Christopher Henry Gallery, 127 Elizabeth St (between Grand and Broome Sts), 6-9pm

Tribeca
Kal Spelletitch unveils his Herb Alpert Upper Body Hydro-Pneumatic Pulsation Vacuo Engine, and uses it to power a robot at Jack Hanley Gallery, 136 Watts St (between Washington and Greenwich Sts), 6-9pm

Chelsea
The young artists in Drive Through Dax play with vintage looks at 532 Gallery Thomas Jaeckel, 532 W 25th St, 2nd Fl (between Tenth and Eleventh Aves), 6-8pm
Young Curators, New Ideas II features just what it says at P.P.O.W. Gallery, 511 W 25th St, Room 301 (between Tenth and Eleventh Aves), 6-8pm
